The opening ceremony of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center (NMACC) in Mumbai is expected to be a high-profile affair.

The Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center (NMACC) is scheduled to open in Mumbai on Friday. The evening will be special with musical theater from Civilization to Nation: The Journey of Our Nation. According to a press release with Civilization to Nation, “acclaimed Indian playwright and director Feroz Abbas Khan will bring together a sensual narrative of Indian culture told through the tenets of the classic Natya Shastra, the ancient Sanskrit treatise on the performing arts. This dramatic showcase features over 700 performers and features art forms such as dance, music and puppetry.”

A costume exhibition entitled India in Fashion and a group art exhibition entitled Sangam Confluence will be held on April 1st and 2nd.

Many celebrities from the Indian film industry are expected to attend the inauguration. Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, who landed in Mumbai on Friday along with their daughter Malti Marie, will attend the opening. Guests at the event include Hollywood actors Tom Holland, Zendaya, Penelope Cruz, French fashion designer Christian Louboutin and artist Jeff Koons.

Speaking of NMACC, Isha Ambani said: “The Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center is so much more than just a place – it is the culmination of my mother Nita Ambani’s passion for arts, culture and her love for India. She has always dreamed of creating a platform that welcomes audiences, artists, performers and creatives in general.
