They say age is just a number, and these 11 celebrities prove just that, as they’ve all worked into their late 80s and beyond — and some of them are still working now, even if they’re almost 100 years old.
From acting to dancing, presenting to writing, these famous faces also prove another old adage: Do what you love and you won’t work a day in your life, because instead of taking it easy in your old age, they have all decided that they would rather continue to work in their chosen industry.

1. Dick Van Dyke
Actor Dick Van Dyke is best known for his role as Bert, Mary Poppins’ cockney boyfriend, in the timeless Disney family film Mary Poppins (1964). He was born on December 13, 1925, so he is now 97 years old and will be 98 years old this year. His career has spanned more than seven decades and he is still an actor today. 2.Clint Eastwood
At 92, Clint Eastwood has one of the longest careers of any Hollywood star. He was born on May 31, 1930 and will be 93 years old in a few days. He has received multiple awards and nominations for his work in film, television, and music, including four Academy Awards, four Golden Globe Awards, and an AFI Life Achievement Award. 3.David Attenborough
David Attenborough is one of the country’s most popular media personalities. The national treasure is a broadcaster, biologist and natural historian who has been producing nature-related television programs for more than eight decades – and still does. His latest series, Wild Isles, was broadcast on ` One earlier this year. Attenborough was born on May 8, 1926 and is now 97 years old. However, he has not expressed any desire to retire. 4.Rita Moreno
One of the few stars to have received an EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony Award), Moreno is an actress, dancer and singer who began her career in Hollywood’s Golden Age. She was born on December 11, 1931 so is 91 years old now and will be 92 later this year. Still active in the entertainment industry, Moreno has roles in the 2023 films 80 for Brady and Fast X.
