Brooke Hogan, Hulk Hogan's daughter, has secretly tied the knot with hockey player Steven Oleksy, she announced at the start of the new year.
Hogan confirmed the wedding on Jan. 1 in an Instagram post that included black-and-white photos of one of the couple posing cheek-to-cheek and the other of Oleksy posing stoically.
“A rare sighting of the man,” Hogan, 35, wrote. “We like to keep to ourselves, but somehow the news got out.”
In the photo, Hogan is seen wearing a bejeweled top and hoop earrings, while Oleksy, 37, wears a leather jacket and wide-brimmed hat.
Hogan called the Orlando Solar Bears player the “kindest, sweetest” man “you'll ever meet” while raving about her boyfriend. “I'm really lucky. God has given me a huge success in this matter.”
Her new husband commented on the post: “You've taught me so much about what 'real' means and what really matters in life,” he wrote. “I love you!”
The TV personality and singer thanked her followers for their well wishes and kindness before adding: “Now back to our regular privacy.”
TMZ was the first to report the marriage. In photos reportedly taken in June 2022, the couple can be seen bonding in a private ceremony in a tropical setting.
Hogan's Instagram post and Olesky's post on X, formerly Twitter, on the same day neither confirmed a timeline for the wedding.
Olesky wrote down
The outlet also claimed that only Hogan and Olesky attended the wedding; The former Brooke Knows Best star has distanced himself from his family in recent years.
In September, she shared a lengthy statement on Instagram with Sky Daily, 45, in which she addressed speculation about why she didn't attend the wedding ceremony between her father Hulk Hogan, 70, and Sky Daily, 45.
“As we all experience this in our own families, the dynamics of a family unit continually change over the years,” the “Brooke Knows Best” alum continued in her statement. “Still, my family has experienced a lot of changes.”

Brooke Hogan said these changes have been “difficult to say the least,” especially navigating them in the public eye.
“In my own journey to healing and happiness, I have chosen to put some distance between myself and my family and focus on people and things that heal my heart and align with my personal beliefs, goals and values,” continued them away.
