From Mahesh Babu to Siddharth, here’s how South Indian celebrities welcomed 2024 | Telugu News

2023 was a good year for the film industry across India. Trade experts speaking to The Indian Express said that the box office collections of films are now at the same level as they were in the pre-pandemic period. It reflects the Instagram posts of celebrities who appear to have had a good year and are hopeful about 2024. Many from Mahesh Babu to his wife Namrata Shirodkar to Aditi Rao Hydari took to Instagram to share pictures and welcome the New Year.

Mahesh Babu, who usually produces just one film every year, didn't have a release in 2023 as he went all out for Guntur Kaaram directed by Trivikram Srinivas. The Prince of Tollywood shared a picture with his wife Namrata Shirodkar on Instagram and wrote, “Spontaneity. Laugh. Love. Adventure. Growth.”

On the other hand, Namrata, who is relatively active on Instagram, shared pictures of the family on the first day of 2024. Along with daughter Sitara and son Gautham, Mahesh and Namrata traveled to Dubai to celebrate the New Year. “It's a family date on the first day of 2024. Love, love and more love. This year begins with a declaration of love (sic),” Namrata wrote.

Meanwhile, Upasana Kamineni, Ram Charan's wife and vice-chairman of Apollo Hospitals, shared a throwback video from 2023. The highlights included her photos from Golden Globes, Oscars, her pregnancy and the baby shower ceremony.

In 2023, Tamannaah Bhatia took the world by storm with her 'Kaavala' song from Jailer and it's just one of the many highlights of her life in the last year. However, her finale video mostly contains some random and silly moments that seem to be close to the actor's heart.

And finally, we have Aditi Rao Hydari's Instagram photo with partner Siddharth. Although the couple chooses not to talk about their relationship, their social media posts speak for themselves. And this one reads: “Happy, blessed, grateful. For magical luck, love, laughter, unicorns, rainbows and fairy dust. #Happynewyear everyone (sic).”

Siddharth has had a great year with the release of his film Chittha, a moving story about a sexual abuse survivor and her uncle. The film made it to almost all top ten lists of best Tamil films of 2023.
