Blooming cherry blossoms attract Asian celebrities to Japan

Song Joong Ki, who was featured on the Forbes Korea Power Celebrity list, took his wife, British actress Katy Louise Saunders, and their son to Japan for the cherry blossom season. Here he walked along the Meguro River, the most beautiful floral display in Tokyo.
Meguro Cherry Blossom Street, which stretches from a bridge near Ikejiri Ohashi Station in Setagaya District to near Takobashi Bridge in Meguro District, attracts throngs of tourists every year.

Taiwanese singer Jay Chou, known as the “King of Mandopop,” is also in Yokohama, Japan for a concert. In his free time he admires the cherry blossoms in Tokyo. Not only is he fascinated by the colors of the flowers during the day, but he also walks across the Meguro River at night to admire the flowers – a unique Japanese experience.

Hong Kong actress Carina Lau is also in Tokyo during her prime. This year the cherry blossoms will bloom about a week later than forecast. When she arrived in Japan, the flowers had just begun to open their signature bright pink petals.
