Mansfield Stadium in Bangor will be the scene of a baseball game between the Alternative Baseball Team and local celebrities this Sunday at 4 p.m.
The Alternative Baseball Team is made up of youth and adults (ages 15 and older) with autism and other disabilities. Offering an authentic baseball experience, the team is designed to enrich their physical and social skills both on and off the baseball diamond.
“Local Celebrities” include Jon Small, Connor Magliozzi, Ben Barr (from Channel 5, not the UMaine Hockey Coach), Angela Luna, Wayne Harvey, Chris Morris, Matt Kinney and more!
There is NO entry fee! There will be a food truck and Bananas the Bear. Lots of fun activities are planned for the fans!
