Peacock’s exciting new series, The Traitors, based on the Dutch program of the same name, will premiere on the streaming platform on January 12.
Hosted by Alan Cumming, the series sees 20 contestants traveling to a castle in the Scottish Highlands where they are faced with a series of challenges they must complete for a chance at a cash prize.
Three of the participants are “the Traitors” who come together to secretly devise a plan to steal the prize from the rest of the players, known as “the Believers”.
A UK version of the show was recently launched on the `, but the US version features a big twist as half the contestants are reality TV stars who viewers will be familiar with – and there are 10 civilian contestants who play next to them.
