Back for another one-off episode is ITV’s All Star Musicals, which will feature six celebrities and perform hits from a range of musicals. TV presenter and singer John Barrowman will host the show after being banned from Dancing On Ice.
Each celebrity will perform a song from a musical, backed by a full West End ensemble and live orchestra, before a winner is crowned. Before their performance, the six celebrities will take part in a musical theater master class from Elaine Paige, Samantha Barks and Trevor Dion Nicholas.
The celebrities attending are Good Morning Britain presenter Alex Beresford, actress Jacqueline Jossa, wildlife presenter Michaela Strachan, Coronation Street’s Lisa George, James Bond actor Colin Salmon and rugby star Danny Care. While ITV has not announced which specific songs each celebrity will sing, they said the musical hit will “range from traditional to contemporary” and draw from musicals like Frozen, Les Miserables, 42nd Street and Hamilton.

The show kicks off with a performance of Grease by musical theater experts Elaine, Samantha, Trevor and the show’s host, John. There will also be a performance by the cast of The Phantom of the Opera during the show.

Alex Beresford
Alex Beresford, best known for presenting the weather on Good Morning Britain, has recently left his job as weatherman for ITV West Country to take up a new position on ITV’s national news team. He has previously participated in Dancing On Ice and was involved in a heated argument with Piers Morgan over his comments about Meghan Markle.
Jacqueline Jossa

Jacqueline Jossa, the queen of the jungle, is best known for her role as Lauren Branning on the ` soap EastEnders. Speaking of attending All Star Musicals, she said, “I’m so excited to be attending All Star Musicals, it’s exciting and it’s scary and I can’t wait to tackle a musical act that everyone knows and loves.”
Michael Strachan
Wildlife presenter Michaela Strachan swaps the great outdoors for a theater stage for All Star Musicals. She is best known for presenting The Really Wild Show and Countryfile. Speaking of shows, Michaela is looking forward to some glamour.
She said: “As a wildlife presenter, it’s not often that I get to trade in my hiking boots and outdoor gear for something glittery! I’m trying to do something I haven’t done in over 30 years, spoiler alert, it’s not the can!
Lisa George
Coronation Street actress Lisa George has also previously taken part in Dancing On Ice and starred in Casualty and Holby City, both of which were recently pulled from the `. Describing All Star Musicals as a “dream” for her, she said, “ASM is a dream for me, both professionally and personally. The team has been so supportive and encouraging and I can’t wait to get on stage.”
Colin Salmon
James Bond star Colin Salmon has also starred in TV shows like Limitless and Master of None. The 59-year-old opened up about joining All Star Musicals, saying: “Who knew learning the masters would be so much fun.”
Danny care
England rugby player Danny Care played for England for ten years from 2008 to 2018 and will now ditch rugby boots for some theatrical magic. He said: “I’m really excited to be doing something completely different and to be outside of my comfort zone. It’s always been my dream to perform in a musical and have the chance to work with so many talented people.”
All Star Musicals airs Sunday 3 April at 19:30 on ITV.
