1. Jay Leno
Jay Leno recently admitted that at 73 he has no plans to retire anytime soon. Despite a few recent accidents, including an explosion at his auto repair shop, he says he’s “fine.” He added that it would take something far more drastic to force him to resign, such as a stroke.
“Then you slow down. That’s when you retire — when you have a stroke,” Jay joked to Page Six, later adding, “Look, if you’re in my position, if you’re a celebrity, you’re luckier than most people. So if something bad happens to you, you can’t whine and complain about it, because bad things happen to people every day – they either burn themselves or they cut themselves – and they don’t have the financial resources that I had. So I’m just kidding.”

At the age of 93, Clint Eastwood knows many people are wondering why he hasn’t retired yet. He says his future career is actually his life secret because he believes it’s important never to stop learning. Clint says it would be a “dream” if he could keep working at 105.
“That really is the secret of life – never stop learning. It’s the secret of a career. I’m still working because I’m constantly learning something new. It’s the secret of relationships. Never think you have everything,” Clint once told Esquire.

3. Judi Dench
Judi Dench has no plans to retire — even if she loses her sight. The longtime actress, who suffers from advanced macular degeneration, says that while she may no longer be able to read screenplays, she is working to find new ways to learn her lines. And as long as she “knows that nothing will fall over,” she says, she’ll keep going.
“I don’t want to retire. I’m not doing much right now because I can’t see. It’s bad. But I have to teach myself a new way of learning,” she said on Louis Theroux’s BBC2 show. “I have a photographic memory, so if someone says to me, ‘This is your line,’ I can do that. And I have many people who can help me. I’ll teach myself a way, I know I will. As long as I don’t stumble.”

4. Paul McCartney
Paul McCartney says there’s no point in his retiring because he’d probably keep making music anyway. Back in 2013, he shared that he had no plans to retire, and a decade later he’s still making music.
“The most important thing for me is that I love making music so much. If I were to retire, I would still be doing exactly what I do. So I can’t retire either. Resign from what? I would do that for free,” he told WXRT Chicago.

5.Warren Buffett
Warren Buffett isn’t stepping down as chairman of Berkshire Hathaway anytime soon. The legendary investor has made billions running the company over the past six decades and thinks it’s “crazy” to quit his job. In addition, he says that even if his muscles weaken and his stamina decreases, it will not affect his ability to buy stocks and companies.
“When I stop today, I see these people. They spend a whole week planning their haircut. “It’s not my idea of life,” he said at an event. “I would rather do that than anything else in the world. My social security check comes every day. I don’t need this… I tap dance to work every day. There is nothing more exciting than getting there. It doesn’t get any better than that.”
6. Christopher Walken
Christopher Walken doesn’t see retirement in his future because he says acting is one of the few things he really loves. In fact, he says he doesn’t really have any hobbies and only finds it worth leaving the house when he’s working.
“I love working – that’s one of the reasons we didn’t have children – and I’ll probably never retire,” he told the Irish Times. “I never had any hobbies, just a strong work ethic like my father. Tennis? Bathe? Golf? You never did it for me. Acting is really what I love. I don’t really like going out unless I’m working.”

7. Sophia Loren
At 88, Sophia Loren is still working in the entertainment industry and has no plans to retire, mostly because she enjoys embracing the “new” in life. Most recently, Sophia appeared in The Life Ahead in 2020 – and even won the AARP Best Actress award the following year.
“That’s terrible, the word retire. Never. Always start out like it’s the beginning of a long career,” she told the Associated Press. “I think you have to get used to the new things that come up and try to chase after them and always live in a world that’s yours, even if you have a lot more to learn.”
