When you think of the popular video game streaming website Twitch, you probably think of the various gamers who have found success and internet fame by streaming their favorite video games. While these people are certainly famous on the internet, there are a large handful of celebrities from politics, acting, and the music industry who have used the platform to interact with fans and stream various video games.
While some of these stars have only streamed once or twice to promote something they feel is important, others have full-fledged careers on the platform and go live regularly. If you’re curious as to which celebrities have made the site their home, then look no further.

Politician Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez only streamed during the 2020 presidential election, but her Among Us event was one of the biggest live stream launches in the entire site’s history. AOC came at a perfect time for live streaming as “Among Us” skyrocketed in popularity and gained huge traction with the upcoming election.
AOC decided to surround their gameplay with voting registration information to educate younger Americans about their right to vote. On top of that, this live stream was incredibly fun as we could see AOC learning the game in real time while interacting with other famous streamers like Pokimane.
7 Snoop Dogg
While he doesn’t stream regularly on Twitch, Snoop Dogg has created some of the most hilarious content the site has ever seen. Notably, the rapper quit out of anger while playing Madden 23, but completely forgot to turn off his stream.
This resulted in an empty chair live stream well over eight hours long, which actually gained popularity as the stream link spread across the internet. Additionally, there have also been incidents where Snoop Dogg muted his microphone but never realized he wasn’t streaming his audio, meaning some of his streams were completely muted.
While this might not be the most interesting content to live stream, there’s no denying the hilarity that followed each stream of Snoop Dogg.
6 doja cat
Though she rarely, if ever, turned on her facecam, Doja Cat has spent much of her streaming career playing an indie horror/platformer game called Little Nightmares. Since the game included some hilarious parkour moments, fans could witness their favorite musician dodging difficult jumps or getting scared of various creatures during the playthrough.
Besides streaming this indie game, Doja Cat also enjoyed playing Grand Theft Auto 5 on various RPG servers, where she created characters and interacted with other players while simultaneously streaming her adventures. Although she’s producing more music again, we still have hope that she’ll return to playing her favorite games on Twitch.
5 Soulja boy
Another celebrity brought to the site through the popular game Among Us was the famous rapper Soulja Boy. However, unlike others on this list, Soulja Boy continued to stream regularly on the platform for some time and really did everything possible to interact with his fans via the live stream chat.
When he’s not chatting with his viewers, Soulja Boy can be seen playing games like Fortnite or Halo Infinite. Even though he hasn’t streamed for about a month, we’re eagerly awaiting his return to the platform.
4 Keke Palmer
Famous movie star Keke Palmer created her twitch stream when she was pregnant with her son and while playing many different titles she spent most of her time creating different story arcs and families for The Sims 4. Fans of the lively celebrity were able to laugh along with her as she downloaded various types of custom content for the game and generally had a fantastic time relaxing during her pregnancy.
Unlike some of the other streams on this list, Keke tended to keep her broadcasts private, which meant the overall atmosphere was more intimate and you could really get her attention with your chat messages. Keke is no longer streaming her fictional families in The Sims 4 as she is busy taking care of her real family after the birth of her newborn son.
3 Post Malone
When he’s not producing a new hit, Post Malone actually plays a ton of Apex Legends. He even achieved Diamond rank in the game and streamed multiple times with other famous players like Aceu and iTzTimmy.
What’s more, Post Malone actually hosted his own Apex Legends tournament, where all the money raised during the games went to various charities. While he may be too busy to actively play now that he’s started raising a family, we’re sure he’ll return to Twitch and the gaming world at some point.
2 T pain
T-Pain is a famous rapper who has built a thriving community on Twitch by streaming a variety of different games like Fortnite, Overwatch, various racing games or just chatting with his friends and viewers. Additionally, fans of the rapper’s music should tune in to the stream regularly as he explains his process of making music there.
Specifically, T-Pain has even opened various streamed programs with which he produces his music and gives his viewers an insight into the magical process of creating his songs. Overall, T-Pain has put together an impeccable atmosphere for his live stream as you really feel like you’re hanging out with every game he plays.
1 Madison Beer
In 2023, Madison Beer launched her Twitch channel to promote her music projects. If you happen to be watching one of her streams, you can catch her playing an indie platform game called Only Up or other games like Fall Guys and Valorant.
In addition, Madison has open conversations with all of her fans and has even spoken about her time as Evelynn singing at the K/DA events in the League of Legends universe. Overall, Madison is able to hold well over 30,000 concurrent viewers, proving that her stream always has a great vibe and safe space.
