This is how celebrities reacted to their win:
Davido
Our one and only Omo Baba Olowo took to his verified Twitter account to celebrate the 22-year-old’s win. In his tweet, he congratulated her and acknowledged her journey from grass to grace.
His tweet read: “ILEBAYE….I love a success story!”
flaw
Big Brother graduate Natacha Akide came through with some shade after Ilebaye was declared the winner. The media personality, who had been vocal about the All-Stars season from the start, made a shady post on Twitter.
She said: “Are we clear now!!!??? Point proven, yes!!!??” It was suspected that her tweet was directed at Mercy, who came first in the show. During her time in the house, Mercy had vowed to win the reality show a second time as she had already emerged winner in 2019.
In another tweet, an elated Tacha rejoiced over Ilebaye’s win and congratulated her: “My girl brought it HOME!!!! Mehnn”
Phyna
From one winner to another, Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, also known as Phyna, bestowed goodwill on Ilebaye. She also wrote on Twitter: “Congratulations Gen Z Baddie, we’ve moved up!!”.
Phyna also once emerged victorious as the winner of Big Brother Naija. After a long and hard-fought battle in 2017, she won the seventh season of the show.
Erica
Former BBN roommate Erica Nlewedim was active on her Twitter profile during the finale, tweeting every step of the way. When Ilebaye was announced as the winner, she expressed her opinion and stated that the winner was clear.
She also gave advice to the reality show’s producers, asking them to increase their security to avoid leaks, adding that the winners were already known.
Finally, Erica congratulated Ilebaye and her runner-up Mercy Eke.
She said: “It was abviasssss. The BBN production should cope better with the leaks, that was already known since yesterday evening. Congratulations to Mercy and Ilebaye, you are winners.”
