In 2020, John told People, “Chrissy’s father is white, her mother is Thai, my parents are both black and from Ohio, and we definitely have an interesting cultural mix for my kids to experience from all of their grandparents and aunts and uncles.” , but I feel like it went so well. In 2019, Jason told People, “The biggest thing I try to do for my kids is just let them use their imagination and creativity and let that thrive. I hope they see me striving for my dreams and always building new ones.”

During a 2021 interview with People, Henry said, “I think I grew up lucky to have parents who saw the importance of travel. I come from a multicultural family. My father is British and my mother is Malaysian. So we’ve always had that mixed kind of heritage – like a child of two worlds, I suppose. I think it’s really important to understand from a young age how lucky we are. During an “Engineering a Better World” speech in 2020, Alexis said, “As a husband you’re just outraged, and then, especially now in the role of a father, I just can’t help but want to create a world that’s just is my daughter. And I know that’s sublime, but it’s a thing worth striving for.”

Shay is Filipino, Scottish and Irish while Matte is black and white. The couple share a two-year-old daughter, Atlas, and welcomed another daughter, Rome, earlier this year.
In 2020, Shay told Entertainment Tonight, “We read books, one of her night books is A for Activist. We’re just starting with her because I think it’s so important to raise them from a young age so they know that really, no matter what you look like, you deserve to love and be loved, without judgment, everything to be and end it all, and that’s it.Especially if you’re from a mixed family yourself. Speaking at the 2020 Most Powerful Next Gen Summit, Meghan said: “The things you can tolerate alone are not the same things you will put your child in a position of vulnerability to. They go every day, ‘How can I make this world a better place for Archie?’ That’s a shared belief for my husband and I.”

Speaking to Lilly Singh, Priyanka said: “As a new parent, I keep thinking that I will never force my desires, fears and upbringing on my child. I have always believed that children come through you, not you. There is no such thing as ‘this is my child and I will shape everything’ belief. They come through you to find and build their own lives. When I realized that this was really helping me, my parents were very open-minded in a way.”

Ashley is white while Justin is black. They share two-year-old Isaac and welcomed twins Malachi and Roman earlier this year.
Speaking on an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, she said, “When you’re in an interracial relationship, it’s even more of a duty for the white person to ask questions and get as much information as possible. This is a time not to be afraid. This is a time to have deep conversations about discrimination and racism in America. Our children need to know what is happening.”
The fashion designer is black, Korean and Japanese. She shares daughters Aoki and Ming with Russell Simmons, son Kenzo with Djimon Hounsou, and son Wolfe with Tim Leissner. She is also the mother of her son Gary, whom she adopted when he was 10 years old.
Kimora has been open about the taunts she endured at school for being mixed race. She’s committed to teaching her children to respect others, and told Working Mother that she encourages her children to “learn about tolerance — differences in culture, religion and even the way we live.” look, respect. I also try to set boundaries – they know what’s expected and give them space to develop and grow.”

Ellen is Italian, English and Irish while Chris is black. They have three children: 12-year-old Stella, eight-year-old Sienna and five-year-old Eli.
During an episode of Red Table Talk, Ellen said: “My challenge in raising brown kids is how much do you say to them and how much don’t you say to them? A few weeks ago I had some friends over for a visit [to] the house – little colored girls – and the little girl came in and I introduced myself and said, ‘I’m Stella’s mother.’ And she looked at me, and she was almost scared, and then she went straight to Stella and said, ‘That’s your mother? I thought that was your mother’ and pointed to the nanny.”

Zayn is Pakistani, English and Irish while Gigi is Dutch and Palestinian. The couple – who reportedly split last year – share a two-year-old daughter, Khai.
During an interview with iD in 2021, Gigi was asked how they handle raising a mixed-race child. She said: “We think about it and talk about it a lot as partners and it’s something that’s really important to us, but it’s also something that we first experienced ourselves. Because both of our parents are their own heritage. We’re the first generation of these mixed races, and then that comes with that first generation experience of being like, “Oh damn, I’m the bridge!” This is not something my parents have experienced or can really help me with. It’s something I’ve always thought about my whole life.”
“I think Khai grows up feeling that she can or wants to be a bridge for her different ethnicities. But I think it’s going to be nice to be able to have those conversations and see where she’s coming from. without us imposing it on her. What’s coming from her that I’m most excited about and being able to add or answer her questions, you know?

Jodie is Jamaican while Joshua is Irish. The couple have one daughter together, two-year-old Janie.
Earlier this year, Jodie told Refinery 29: “Ultimately, I’m raising a mixed race daughter. I’m raising a girl who doesn’t look exactly like me, who is lighter than me. I want to figure out how I can educate her to have an understanding of white supremacy, of colorism, of how it benefits her, how she doesn’t benefit from it, how to have these kinds of conversations in a really powerful and empowering way. “
The singer is Hispanic, Dominican, Japanese and Black. She shares 13-year-old daughter Namiko with R&B singer O’Ryan. She is currently dating Big Sean and they are expecting their first child together.
In 2021, she told Billboard, “I think it’s important that people share their stories in general. I think we should share them more to learn from each other and not judge each other. Most importantly, because I have a daughter, I want to see her live my life as my most authentic self so that she can be inspired to do the same. We just love ourselves, we love our family, we love our roots and everything that makes us who we are.”

And finally Zoe Saldaña and Marco Perego-Saldaña
Zoe is Afro-Latina (Dominican and Puerto Rican) while Marco is Italian. The couple have three sons: seven-year-old twins Cy and Bowie and five-year-old Zen.
During a Rosé roundtable, Zoe said: “My husband is an immigrant. I belong to the first generation. It is a necessity for us to raise our children with our roots so that they can communicate with their grandparents. But also so that they can be creative, a kind of empathy for people who don’t look like them and don’t sound like them and don’t smell like them.”
