More and more celebrities are entering the organic food industry after seeing its growth.

According to Research Dive, the organic food market was a $160 million industry in 2019 and is projected to generate more than $400 million in revenue by 2027. Celebrities are known for providing their face and brand for a variety of endorsements, they’ve started businesses ranging from clothing lines to beauty lines, and now they’re taking a big bite out of the organic food industry.

The attraction to organic food stems from our desire to eat meals free of preservatives and chemicals. It is transforming the fruit, vegetable and animal farming industry as more and more people are interested in knowing where their food comes from and how it was produced.

The 13 Going on 30 actress co-founded Once Upon a Farm, which offers baby food pouches that contain only organic fruits and vegetables. Garner grew up on a farm in West Virginia with a desire to provide fresh, healthy food for her children and others.

10 Sarah Michelle Gellar: Food moves

Knowing the joy she found baking with her kids, Gellar wanted to help other parents make those connections with their own. The Buffy the Vampire Slayer star founded Food Stirs, selling organic baking mixes and dessert themes like Rainbow Cake Pops and Movie Night Cupcakes, according to Taste of Home.

9 Steve Schirripa: Uncle Steve’s Sauces

The ‘The Blue Bloods and The Sopranos’ actor was known among friends for his homemade arrabbiata sauce, which pays homage to his Italian mother. Inspired to start his family business, the company offers organic, gluten-free and certified paleo sauces. Jars sold on the shelves of stores like Walmart and others list ingredients on the front of the label, including organic Italian tomatoes, organic onions, organic garlic, and so on.

8th Scottie Pippen: Shell

According to Live Kindly, the NBA star launched a vegan, organic, and gluten-free brand of popcorn with business partner RC Mills in July 2021. The Husk brand includes multiple flavors, including cayenne and ginger, matcha and coconut water, and kale and broccoli.

7 Beyonce- WTRMLN

The “irreplaceable” singer invested in the juice company in 2016. WTRMLN uses discarded watermelons that farmers don’t use due to blemishes to make their products. Beyonce is not alone; Other prominent investors include NBA athletes Chris Paul and Kevin Durant.

Another organic squeezed juice brand has garnered a long list of celebrity supporters. According to USA Today, the Modern Family star is joining Leonardo DiCaprio and Jared Leto, among others. The e-commerce company sells organic groceries and delivers them to your door. Along with Legend, others have invested in the members-only grocery store, including Will Smith, Tony Robbins and health guru Jillian Michaels. Not only do they offer organic food, but the company also sells organic and natural cosmetic products, cleaning products and a selection of organic wines.

4 Shailene Woodley – Good catch

Good Catch offers plant-based seafood including tuna and crab cakes. Recently, celebrities such as the Divergent star, Woody Harrelson and Paris Hilton have invested in the company. According to the New Hope Network, Good Catch uses legumes, peas, chickpeas, broad beans and seaweed oil to create a seafood-like texture, and the stars love it.

The plant-based food company thrived when it convinced billionaire Gates to invest in its protein alternatives. They are currently in the meat aisle of more than 10,000 retailers across the US, offering burgers, sausages, meatballs, chicken and jerky without GMOs, cholesterol, antibiotics or hormones.
