Electric cars are the future. They are faster, cleaner and quieter. Of course, in today’s celebrity-loving world, a celebrity endorsement will make ordinary people opt for it electric car Vision. However, not every celebrity is shilling on every opportunity they can get. Some celebrities are spending their hard-earned cash and genuinely love electric vehicles.
The electric car industry is still in its infancy. Legacy automakers are awakening to the EV revolution and developing platforms. Tesla has become an established player in space with its Supercharger network and competent platform. There are also newcomers willing to kill old cars and establish themselves as top dogs.
10 Joe Rogan – Tesla Model S
When you think EV, think Tesla. When you think of podcast, you think of Joe Rogan. So it only makes sense that the most popular podcaster drives a Tesla. Rogan’s P100D produces 589 horsepower from the front and rear electric motors. If you really dump all that power, you can accelerate from 0-60mph in 2.7 seconds in ridiculous mode.

9 Robert Downey Jr. – Audi E-tron GT
Audis and RDJ are one thing. From the first Iron Man film with the star in an Audi R8 to the Audi E-tron GT from Avengers Endgame. Its 800 volt architecture means faster charging (270 kW) and improved battery performance.
In terms of performance, 2 AC motors give out a maximum of 637 hp in perfect battery conditions. It shares a platform with the Porsche Taycan. Both have a similar range of 250 miles.
8th James May – BMW i3
It’s no secret that James May loves electric vehicles. Of course, he also owned a hydrogen-powered Toyota Mirais. BMW released the i3 to launch its “i” brand of badass electric vehicles. The latest model has a 120 Ah battery and a range of 250 km.
James May’s early introduction of the car in 2014 meant it only had 81 miles of range. Comparing the fuel consumption of electric vehicles with internal combustion engines is a patchy practice. If we look at the i3, it comes in at around 113 mpg-e.
7 Ed Sheeran – Volkswagen ID. Buzz
Nothing says folk music like the Volkswagen Kombi. So there is no better person than Ed Sheeran to present the ID.Buzz. The British superstar musician will go on tour with the 330 hp camper van in 2024.
In terms of range, the range on a full charge is around 373 miles. If you opt for the RWD version, you only get 270 miles. V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) is a nifty feature that allows you to power electronics or even your house with the car’s batteries.
6 Nico Rosberg – Rimac Never
It’s no secret, Nico Rosberg loves to drive fast. The Rímac Nevera is the fastest electric car in the world. It has a 0-60 mph of 1.9 seconds. 1900 HP comes from 4 permanent magnet electric motors. A 120 kWh lithium nickel manganese cobalt oxide battery gives it a range of 550 km. At maximum power, this is of course reduced.
Every part of this electric hypercar is handcrafted from carbon fiber and aluminum. Four independent inverters and gearboxes drive an all-wheel drive system. Software-based torque vectoring improves cornering. The Rímac Nevera isn’t just fast in a straight line.
5 Steve Wozniak – Lucid Air
Clear air is the Tesla rival. Steve Wozniak’s latest electric vehicle, the Apple engineering god himself, is a Lucid Air. Not much is known about his car. However, if you opt for the lowest trim level, the Air Pure, you get 480 horsepower and 410 miles of range.
The top trim, the Lucid Air Grand Touring has 1000 hp, 500 miles of range and 300 kW fast charging. It’s also not lacking in ADAS capabilities. The Dream Drive Pro system enables semi-autonomous driving.
4 Snoop Dogg – Tesla Model X
The man, the myth, the legend, Snoop Dogg. Snoop is always at the forefront of technology, so buying a Tesla doesn’t come as a surprise. It has top equipment, the P100D has 670 hp and a range of around 400 km.
It uses a 400V architecture, but charging can get you from 20 to 205 miles in 42 minutes. 3-phase home charging still takes about 7 hours. The Tesla Model X is a 7-seater city tourer, so there is no V2L capability, which limits its usability when camping.
3 Ashton Kutcher – GMC Hummer EV Truck

The first electric super truck. It has massive 35-inch tires, double front winches and steel skid plates. GMC designed this Hummer with off-roaders in mind. With an 800V architecture, 350kW charging power and 529km range, it doesn’t compromise on the EV’s capabilities, even when it comes to range.

The EQS is the electric S-Class. With a range of 400 miles and 207kW of DC charging, you can rest assured that the EQS will get you to your destination comfortably and quietly. Of course, celebrity YouTuber and content creator Casey Neistat had to have one.
Much of the price of this car comes from the luxurious interior and the Mercedes experience. Configurable massage seats and a spacious rear seating area make long journeys a breeze.
1 Matt Damon – Karma Revero
The Karma brand is back. After the flood disasters and exploding batteries of the Fisker Karma, the company was bought and reborn as Karma. The Karma Revero GT is their first attempt at redemption.
Matt Damon is a prominent EV advocate, so buying a Revero just makes sense. The PHEV powertrain means you experience the rumble of a turbocharged inline-four with the quiet and quick acceleration of an electric car.
