Will Bitcoin’s sideways movement end soon?
The king of cryptos seemed comfortable below $30,000 for quite some time. Accordingly CoinMarketCapThe price of BTC has only moved slightly over the past seven days. At press time, the transaction price was $29,364.40 and the market capitalization was more than $571 billion.
However, the trend could end soon, a recent report shows analysis. SignalQuant, author and analyst at CryptoQuant, emphasized the connection between new capital inflow and the price of BTC. Unfortunately, the supply of all stablecoins has declined over the past 18 months. Hence, the analysis included USDT (ERC), which was associated with this year’s rally.
The circulating supply of USDT (ERC) grew in early December 2022, early March and mid-June 2023, followed by a surge BTCThe price. Therefore, USDT (ERC) Circulating Supply is an important metric to watch. If the indicator rises in the coming days, the price of BTC could see an uptrend.

Another analysis highlighted the behavior of short-term holders that could have interesting implications for the market. AxelAdlerJr, analyst and author at CryptoQuant, announced that the Short-Term Holders (STH) cohort increased their supply by 100,000 BTC, reaching a total of 4.2 million BTC from a previous 4.1 million BTC.
The STH cohort could enter an accumulation phase in the future. Given that STH currently accounts for the majority of market inflows, this could be a bullish sign.
A look at the state of BTC
Although the above analysis shows that BTC’s price action may be turning bullish, a review of other metrics suggests otherwise. For example, it was Bitcoin’s net deposits on exchanges high compared to the 7-day moving average, meaning it was under selling pressure.
