Everyone who follows Bitcoin is wondering whether the price will rise after the halving. This is when the reward for Bitcoin mining halves, and typically after that the price begins to rise. But what will happen this time given the carnage we are witnessing in the market?
Looking at the Bitcoin chart we have, it appears that the price has not increased as much as before other halvings. That makes some people worried about the future of the rally. If Bitcoin doesn't rise more before reaching a price just a little higher than its all-time high, it could spell fundamental trouble for the cryptocurrency market.

Bitcoin has some good points now. It remains above some exponential moving averages on the chart, which usually indicate bullish trends in the market. This could also mean that the price will start rising a little later. But the rally, that is, when the price starts to rise before the halving, does not show the tendencies we observed in 2017 and 2021.
The price does not show much volatility. If the price increase isn't very volatile before something big like a halving, that could mean people aren't as excited about buying more Bitcoin as they should.
What does it all mean? Although halvings have significantly increased the value of digital gold in the past, the signs are currently mixed. The price is staying there, not rising much, and the correction that started a few weeks ago is visibly worsening. With concerns about the economy, people may be more careful with their money.
Anyone who owns Bitcoin or is thinking about buying some should monitor the halving progress and evaluate their strategies based on it.
