Prominent Bitcoin supporter Max Keizer commented on the recent collapse of the First Republic Bank on Twitter.
This wasn’t the first major US bank to collapse recently and be bailed out by the government or bought by larger banks. The latter happened with First Republic Bank; its assets were acquired by banking giant JP Morgan.
Before that, Signature Bank, Silicon Valley Bank, Silvergate Bank and a few others saw their stocks fall and then shut down. Now Max Keizer has commented on his video from a 2022 interview in which he explained that all fiat currencies go to zero.
He repeated it now, saying that the world of fiat money is crumbling and “everything goes to zero against bitcoin.” Keizer believes banks in the US are now technically insolvent, and “so is the Fed.”
He recommends his followers to “get some BTC asap.”
Prominent crypto analyst Michael van de Poppe also believes banks that are now failing are bullish on the flagship digital currency. In a recent tweet, he suggested that if Bitcoin manages to break above $29,200, it could trigger new highs.
So far, the analyst says, BTC is stuck between the $28,300 zone and $29,150.
At the time of writing, Bitcoin is changing hands at $28,894 after a 2.26% surge in the past 24 hours, according to CoinMarketCap data.
