Upcoming SNS Proposal: List $Tendy on ICPcoins – DFINITY

Below is a draft proposal that we will be pushing forward in the coming weeks to allow $TENDY to be listed on ICPcoins.

Previous proposals to add $BOX and $ICYPEES were rejected. We hope that our project meets the needs of the community and is accepted. We have already given drafts of our prop to the 100 year old sns1 DAO openchat group. We informed Anvil and SNS1 Dao Twitter that we are planning a proposal. I want this thread to give you, the developers and users of the IC, an opportunity to ask questions and make comments and requests about the project before we submit our proposal.

Proposal for listing $Tendys on ICPCOINS: Improving the IC ecosystem with multiple liquidity pools and a strong community.

I am writing to propose the listing of Tendys (Canister: 72uqs-pqaaa-aaaak-aes7a-cai Standard: DIP20), which aims to create an ecosystem by establishing multiple pools of liquidity and building a strong, trusted community. It’s also a chicken tender. Tendys will prioritize transparency, liquidity and community driven initiatives to ensure long-term growth and sustainability.

  1. Introduction to Tendys:

TENDY is a DIP20 standard token with a maximum supply of 88,000. The development team hasn’t blocked the canister yet as there will soon be improvements and possibly even potential additions of icrc1 features to the code.

TENDY is a token designed to offer investors a seamless, secure and rewarding experience.

There are currently active swap pools with locked liquidity from SNS1, ICYPEES, ckBTC and ICP.

There are user controlled TENDY pools with CHAT, ICL, SNS1, ICYPEES and ICP.

TENDY hopes to bridge the gap between “meme tokens” and “utility” tokens by providing liquidity and unique arbitrage opportunities to users of the internet computer colloquially known as the “tendyverse.”

  1. Multiple liquidity pools:

Tendys will support the creation of multiple liquidity pools to increase liquidity and provide investors with a smooth trading experience. These liquidity pools are set up in partnership with reputable decentralized exchanges to ensure a safe and seamless environment for trading Tendys and other compatible cryptocurrencies. These pools also provide users with potential arbitrage opportunities, and owning TENDY tokens opens up a world of trading within the Tendyverse.

  1. Burning Liquidity Pool NFTs:

To foster trust and demonstrate our commitment to community well-being, Tendys takes a unique approach. The team blocked and burned certain NFTs of the liquidity pool, eliminating the possibility of rug pulls or sudden liquidity outflows. These “burned” LP pools can be viewed here:

The numbers are as follows:

66 ICP / 6930 TENDY

10,000 ICYPEES / 2000 TENDY

1 sns1 / 809 TENDY

.00052 ckBTC/ 52 TENDY

So far, they have been tied to liquidity.

This equates to just over 10% of all existing TENDYS tied to LP.

  1. Community Development and Engagement:

At the core of Tendys’ success is a strong, engaged community. The development team is active on Twitter and the public Telegram can be found here: Telegram: Contact @icTendies

Tendys was born out of a desire to provide a seamless and immersive user experience. The development team is not funded by dfinity and has not received any grants to date. All LPs burned come straight out of the development team’s pockets.

  1. Token standards amid new IC updates: Currently, $TENDY is a Dip20 standard token. We have spoken to numerous projects on the IC that have requested the addition of ICRC1/2 interfaces and/or functionality to the token. Our development team is working on a solution. There are currently two threads on this forum where I have asked questions and received guidance on migrating a DIP20 to ICRC1/2. We can choose to develop a wrap that can be used to integrate DIP20 into the icrc1/2 functional world. In our opinion, devaluing tokens that do not conform to the ICRC1 standard would do the IC a disservice. If anyone has any thoughts on this I would be very grateful.

  2. Listings: $TENDY is currently listed on ICPSWAP, the leading AMM on the IC. We’ve been in touch with the new Plug and Sonic teams, many of which have been public. We are in the process of completing the form provided by ICL to obtain a listing and have been in contact with William Liam. I have contacted @bitbruce via DM on this forum with no response.

  3. Information directly related to the listing on ICPCOINS: Tendy’s description reads: “The mission of the $TENDY token is a low-supply token that can be paired with projects as a liquidity provider, aiming to have low slippage on trades throughout the IC.” It’s also a chicken tender. There are 88,000 of them.” The canister ID: 72uqs-pqaaa-aaaak-aes7a-cai Default: DIP20

In summary, Tendys aims to offer multiple liquidity pools for good projects and is also a chicken tender. We are confident that Tendy’s addition to ICPCoins will be well-suited for ecosystem growth and will also offer a light-hearted chicken tender-themed token to an otherwise reputable project-oriented platform. We would like to emphasize that TENDY is a serious project, but also a chicken tender. There are 88,000 of them.

sincerely,

Tendy’s development team
