After the successful merger with Unite, Taki Games – a Web3 network for mobile games – expanded to the Polygon network. It has also partnered with top Polygon DEX Quickswap to launch new TAKI liquidity pools.
Taki Games is expanding into the Polygon network and merging with Unite, the company behind the popular Web3 and NFT project Kungfuverse. Weiwei Geng, the former CEO of Unite, moved to Taki Games as CEO after the merger.
In order to create sufficient liquidity for the launch of TAKI on Polygon, Taki Games has partnered with Quickswap. This allows for easy TAKI transfers between Polygon and Solana, as well as a specific liquidity pool for Taki's bridged tokens. An additional feature is a TAKI/MATIC pool.
Taki Games first gained attention on Polygon with its social product web3, which attracted a million members. The expansion to Polygon will accelerate the convergence of Web2 and Web3 gaming and offer a portfolio of mobile games powered by the TAKI token.
Taki invested $2.5 million in Fiat and TAKI to purchase two well-known mobile games, Mom's Kitchen and Bored Button, as a result of its merger with Unite. Mom's Kitchen has 150,000 downloads and 8,000 MAUs, but Bored Button boasts over 5 million installs and over 200,000 monthly active users.
Weiwei Geng, CEO of Taki Games, said: “Web3 gaming's first blockbusters have shown the huge demand for a game that players can actually own.” They have also shown what happens when the business model doesn't keep up with the vision and inflation eats up the value, which is why we designed Taki differently. Instead, we want to grow Web3 gaming by turning multi-billion dollar markets into assets that gamers can keep for themselves.”
With TAKI now available on Quickswap, Polygon users can explore the Web3 games it supports, trade the token without restrictions, and provide liquidity.
