South American investment holding Nilam Resources has announced that it is taking a significant step into the Bitcoin (BTC) ecosystem. According to the latest update, the company is planning a capital injection of up to $1.7 billion, which will ultimately be used to purchase up to 24,800 Bitcoin units.
Important entry into Bitcoin (BTC)
As a company with different investment interests, Nilam Resources filed a letter of intent (LOI) with Xyberdata Ltd to purchase 100% of the ordinary shares of a special purpose vehicle. This specialized company will be founded under the name MindWave and will hold the 24,800 Bitcoins that it wants to acquire.
Nilam Resources is said to be based in Mauritius and announced that it would take a 100 percent stake in MindWave. The Bitcoin asset is not the only digital currency the company plans to invest in as it has categorically stated that it will also include “other assets.” These digital currencies, as already mentioned, are not intended for HODLing, but are primarily used as collateral for raising funds to invest in high-yield projects.
As the Latin American Bitcoin scene now takes notice of digital currencies, Nilam Resources has now broken the record as the first company to invest its capital in an asset with Bitcoin as its underlying asset. The company noted that this investment approach is consistent with its strategies to put money into high-value innovations that sit between the digital economy and the technology world.
The big plans that Nilam Resources has for its new Bitcoin-backed MindWave company could also include a stock market listing in the long term.
The Bitcoin revolution is gathering pace

Michael Saylor, the architect of MicroStrategy's accumulation strategy, believes that BTC can help drive the bullish narrative surrounding Bitcoin Stagnation of gold and the collapse of fiat currencies. Nilam Resources seems to have paid attention to this update.
This accumulation news may have helped the price of Bitcoin recover, which is up 7.2% to $70,145 in the last 24 hours at the time of writing.
