Renowned financial guru Robert Kiyosaki, author of the bestselling book Rich Dad Poor Dad, has once again caught the attention of the cryptocurrency community with his bullish Bitcoin forecast.
In a recent social media post on X, Kiyosaki predicted that the leading cryptocurrency could rise to $300,000 by the end of 2024.
Kiyosaki urges quick action as Bitcoin surges
In his post, Robert Kiyosaki urged his followers to seize the opportunity presented by Bitcoin's current momentum. “BITCOIN on fire,” Kiyosaki exclaimed, emphasizing the importance of taking quick action.
He emphasized that even a modest investment of $500 could bring significant returns given Bitcoin's predicted rise to $300,000.
This is not the first time Kiyosaki has made bold predictions about Bitcoin. Last year, he predicted that the cryptocurrency's value could rise to $500,000 by 2025.
Kiyosaki has long been an advocate for Bitcoin, with this optimism about the asset stemming from his belief that alternative assets serve as a hedge against economic instability.
Kiyosaki advocates investing in Bitcoin, gold and silver, positioning them as safer stores of value compared to traditional fiat currencies such as the US dollar. He believes that the U.S. dollar will one day meet its demise and argues that cryptocurrencies and precious metals make a crucial contribution to financial resilience in uncertain economic times.
Analysts are looking at six-figure territory
His latest prediction comes at a time when the Bitcoin price is experiencing volatility. BTC reached a new all-time high a few days ago, surpassing its previous record of $69,000 set in November 2021.
This rally was fueled by excitement surrounding Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and expectations of an upcoming halving.
However, after Tuesday's peak, Bitcoin experienced a temporary downturn, with the price plunging by over 14%. The digital asset quickly recovered despite this setback, fueled by strong buying activity, and is currently valued at around $66,800, according to CoinGecko data.
Analysts are cautiously optimistic about Bitcoin's trajectory, drawing parallels to historical patterns. After surpassing its previous all-time high, the asset's price tripled in about three months.
Similar price increases occurred in 2012 and 2016 following record-breaking rallies, leading many to believe that the current momentum could take Bitcoin to new heights in the coming years. If historical patterns repeat, the cryptocurrency could move into six-figure price territory.
