Record $2.3 Billion Bitcoin Moved in 24 Hours, Half Bought on Coinbase – TradingView News

According to reputable cryptocurrency tracker Whale Alert, a staggering amount of Bitcoin was transferred from wallets marked as unknown in the last 24 hours. The total amount of BTC that has changed hands exceeds $2.3 billion in fiat.

It was carried out in five large transactions, the smallest of which moved 4,799 BTC. One transferred 7,452 BTC and the other three transferred over 8,100 Bitcoin each. The largest of these contained 8,734 BTC worth $560,821,374.

These five huge transfers saw approximately $1 billion worth of Bitcoin withdrawn from cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase – 8,172 BTC and 8,136 BTC.

Well-known cryptocurrency trader and analyst Ali Martinez also shared today that more than 25,000 BTC worth around $1.6 billion were accumulated through anonymous blockchain addresses within the past day. The analyst noted that this is the largest Bitcoin inflow into accumulation wallets so far in 2024.

On Friday, Bitcoin plunged 5.29%, falling from $66,490 to $62,975. In the last 24 hours, the world's leading cryptocurrency managed to register a small recovery and reclaim the price of $64,560.
