Oshi Finance is a group of genius wizards led by m3rl1n.og. They are the most prolific contractors in the business and stand behind Ordinal Board (OB).
Oshi Finance’s mission is to be the first bitcoin liquidity pool protocol. Many had the same goal, but the 5 lines of JSON code for BRC-20 tokens is limiting.
It was at this point that Oshi Finance decided to create the framework needed for a liquidity protocol. Welcome to BOSS.
BOSS / OSHI
BOSS = Bitcoin Operational Standardized System (light paper)
BOSS wants to be a complementary protocol to Bitcoin and Ordinals.
Since BOSS is a decentralized protocol, there is no token.
Think of it as an operating system [Bitcoin virtual machine (BVM)] which can run various programs. This is the introduction of smart inscriptions, similar to the smart contracts on Ethereum, into the Bitcoin Ordinals ecosystem.
Essentially, BOSS is an open-source, permissionless, multi-state standards system written in JSON. It is backward compatible with the rest of the web and the primitive BRC-20 tokens. Oshi Finance’s ($OSHI) Liquidity Pool Protocol is one of endless possibilities.
The Oshi Finance team is currently building all the moving parts to make BOSS work. When you understand the scope of BOSS, you realize the magnitude of such an endeavor.
