On Dec. 28, Cointelegraph’s Crypto Trading Secrets podcast interviewed trader Nebraskangooner and gathered his opinions on various topics. “Flat and completely sideways and uneventful,” Nebraskangooner said when asked for his thoughts on the Bitcoin (BTC) price of late.
In the crypto bear market, Bitcoin’s price struggled throughout 2022, falling sharply from its all-time high of over $60,000 in 2021. Nebraskangooner commented on Bitcoin’s possible position within the bear market and a possible bottom for the asset.
Regarding his view on Bitcoin’s price, Nebraskangooner said he primarily looks at price charts for valuation rather than mainstream news events. “I’ve never really believed that too much news affects anything,” he explained, continuing:
“I think news accelerates price action even more. I’ve always believed, “Tell me the news and I’ll show you the chart”. Basically, good news always seems to happen at support and bad news always seems to happen at resistance. Obviously more bad news comes out in bear markets, and obviously more good news comes out in bull markets.”
“I don’t really see the news as a change in tide,” he added. “I tend to just trade the charts.” Nebraskangooner also shared other thoughts on what he thinks has most impacted Bitcoin’s price.
