Market dips dragged down by losses in BTC, ETH and other cryptocurrencies

The global cryptocurrency market fell 1.9 percent to $781.09 billion in the last 24 hours through Tuesday night, dragged down by sell-offs across the crypto spectrum.

However, the total trading volume of the market rose 1.6 percent to $64.9 billion over the same period as of 4:30 p.m. IST, according to Coinmarketcap.com.

Huobi Token (HT) was the top gainer today, up 6.9 percent to $4.7. The biggest loser was NEM, which is down 10.5 percent over the past 24 hours to $0.0308. FTT, the native token of the FTX crypto exchange, has been the hottest crypto.

Bitcoin: BTC fell 2.2 percent to $15,751 in the last 24 hours. Its market cap was 302.6 billion. The intraday low was $15,751 while trading volume rose 7.4 percent to $32.5 billion.

Ether: Ethereum fell 3.03 percent to $1,087. ETH’s market cap stood at $133.03 billion, while trading volume rose 7.4 percent to $13.4 billion.

Solana (SOL) price fell 4.5 percent to $11.2 on November 22, 2022.

XRP is up 2.6 percent to $0.3609 and its 24-hour trading volume is down 19.6 percent to $1.5 billion.

Cardano (ADA) fell 1.5 percent to $0.3012. Cardano’s 24-hour trading volume fell 0.23 percent to $343.1 million.

Dogecoin (DOGE) is down 2.4 percent to $0.0741. 24-hour trading volume fell 7.9 percent to $587.7 million.

Shiba Inu was down 4.2 percent at $0.000008278.

Decentralized Finance (DeFi)

Yearn.Finance (YFI) was up 0.04 percent to $5,883. 24-hour trading volume fell 10.2 percent to $39.1 million.

Avalanche (AVAX) fell 3.01 percent to $11.5 and its 24-hour trading volume increased 13.1 percent to $184.8 million.

Aave (AAVE) fell 5.2 percent to $53.5 and its 24-hour trading volume declined 2.7 percent to $77.5 million.
