By reading e-books on the platform, users can earn EBD tokens, the platform’s native tokens, as a reward. The platform aims to stimulate reading and learning by providing a financial reward for users who interact with the content. A blockchain-based rewards system is beneficial for both the platform and users as it allows for transparent and secure tracking of user activity and rewards.
Authors can publish their unique e-books anonymously (politically or otherwise) (+copyright rules). Existing authors (less popular ones) must use KYC to publish their e-books in any language and territory. The doxxed publishers can also subsequently post their e-books on the platform.
EBD token ICO
The EBD token is currently in the Initial Coin Offering (ICO) phase, with 10% (EBD 21 billion) of the total supply allocated for this phase. Users can find information about the ICO and how to buy EBD tokens here. The project will drop off users who sign up and participate in the ICO before the February 27 expiration date. Other benefits for ICO buyers include whitelisting of the (cross-platform) beta application, access to eBook lending on the EBD marketplace, and a chance to get an exclusive EBD-NFT (eBook) on EBD MP or OpenSea. The $EBD token (BEP-20) is based on the BNB chain and is the native token used as a reward for users on the platform. It can be used to buy e-books on the platform and will be available for trading on various crypto exchanges, including DEXs like PancakeSwap, according to the project whitepaper.

- EBD Token NFT Marketplace: Native NFT platform hosting collections from EBD-based, acclaimed and emerging artists, authors and brands, as well as exclusive NFT collectibles that give users access to a range of products, promotions, lifestyle experiences and events as part of the Reading Rewards Programs offer special benefits. The NFT Collections can be purchased on the Marketplace with $EBD, $WBNB, and fiat currency (in phase 3).
- EBD PB (Publisher – Phase 4): Annual Web3 and Blockchain Conference hosted at EBD Reading Reward. The main goal is to bring together experts from all over the world and representatives from different industries, cultures and institutions to explore the endless possibilities of blockchain.
