Have you invested in BitCoin or other forms of cryptocurrencies like LiteCoin, Ethereum, etc.?

In 2015, investors predicted that cryptocurrencies would be very similar to the internet. Slow to accept (remember, most Americans didn’t understand much, much less believe in, the Internet in 1994). Soon we could see the cryptocurrency outperforming the dollar. As more people invest and move towards cryptocurrency, the price will be valued higher. For those who invested between 2010 and 2015, they made millions. Given the price of some cryptocurrencies today, many people believe they are “too late” – yet these cryptocurrencies are showing no signs of slowing down. In fact, BitCoin could be over $10,000 and LiteCoin over $100 by January 2018. In 5-10 years BitCoin could cost $500k – $1M per coin.

Many people are afraid to invest in something intangible or something they don’t understand. Something fleeting. Keep in mind that Google and Apple were both very risky investments in the beginning. The same applies to cryptocurrencies.

What cryptocurrencies do is take power away from government and bank currencies. It takes away the greedy and often deceitful middleman and puts YOU, the people, in full control. Your money is shifted between you and another person. Cryptocurrency is not centralized. It is run by you and everyone who owns it. A global ledger is maintained between each user. Every transaction is sent to every device connected to the network.

I can safely believe that in 5-10 years, maybe even sooner, cryptocurrencies will be what everyone uses.

BitCoin was just over $300 in October 2014.
BitCoin was just over $200 in October 2015.
BitCoin was just over $900 in October 2016.
Bitcoin was just over $6,000 in October 2017.

LITECOIN: (has 4 times the amount so should be 1/4 the price)
LiteCoin was just over $3 in October 2013.
LiteCoin was just over $3 in October 2014.
LiteCoin was just over $3 in October 2014.
LiteCoin was just under $4 in October 2016.
LiteCoin was just over $60 in October 2017.
