Tell us about your project
Extra Finance is a community-driven leveraged yield farming (LYF) protocol powered by Optimism.
Extra Finance allows users to participate in various farming pools on Velodrome and other decentralized exchanges. By providing triple or higher leverage, users can customize their farming strategies, including options such as reinvestment, market neutrality, and long/short farming. In addition to LYF, Extra Finance also acts as a credit protocol.
Users can deposit funds into loan pools to earn interest on their assets. This feature offers users the opportunity to earn passive income.
Tell us about your role
I’m Scarlett, the General Manager and Operations Manager of Extra Finance.
I am confidently responsible for the community operation and project cooperation of Extra Finance.
My job is to proactively help my community ecosystem become more active and expand its reach to more areas of Defi and Web3. My job allows me to connect with many interesting community members and partners and participate in product development discussions.
These interactions allow Extra Finance to grow faster and provide users with an enhanced DeFi experience. Communicating with different partners is a knowledge sharing, and we can explore each other’s valuable insights and work together to create new opportunities.
I enjoy my job because it allows me to discover new things and create more value every day.
Why do you like using Zealy so much?
This is the first time our community is using Zealy! As a project that has just started in beta, we need a platform that can help us invite more community members to join.
Personally, I have participated in many projects on Zealy and the platform makes me feel that it can grow together with projects and offer them what they need most at different stages.

What is your quest strategy – and your absolute favorite quest?
We designed our quest board as follows:
The quest progresses gradually, This allows users to understand our project step-by-step: from social media to project Q&A, and then experience our product by opening jobs.
Use social media quests: We encourage users not only to join our community and follow us on Twitter, but also to follow and retweet some of our latest updates.
Promote product understanding: We have developed some tests combined with documentation to help our users start their DeFi journey quickly.
Enable product experience: Users can get rewards simply by opening positions or providing feedback.
We believe this design will help users to quickly understand our product and connect with us.
“Zealy Hunter” is a role on our Discord server that entitles members to receive airdrops after token launch.
We believe roles are the best cue and icon for users to connect within the community, while airdrops can connect user interests with our project’s interests in the long run.
What trends do you see in Web3? What are your predictions for what’s next?
DeFi is likely to continue to expand, offering a wider range of financial services and attracting more institutional players.
