Samuel Tring will join Schroders’ multi-asset dealing team with a focus on private wealth after three years at Evelyn Partners, The TRADE can reveal.
His new role comes as Schroders moves its operations from Zurich to its London office, where a four-strong team will be assembled, according to The TRADE.
Tring previously worked as a junior trader for Smith & Williamson before joining Evelyn Partners, where he worked across a range of asset classes. He also previously worked as a transaction reporting analyst for Aviva Investors.
Speaking to The TRADE about his appointment, Tring said: “Schroder’s is a fantastic company and I can’t wait to get started. “I really enjoyed the role itself, so of course I was delighted when it was offered to me.”
Earlier this month, Tring was named one of The TRADE’s Rising Stars, a prestigious awards program now in its ninth year as part of Leaders in Trading.
The award aims to recognize the very best emerging buy-side trading professionals and has recognized numerous promising talents over the years, many of whom have gone on to take on expanded roles, such as head of trading at some of the world’s largest asset managers and hedge funds.
