What crypto exchanges say about the current market scenario

Edul Patel, co-founder and CEO of Mudrex, told ABP Live: “Bitcoin crosses the $45,000 threshold, driven by a surge in whale stocks.” Glassnode reports a 3.6% increase in Bitcoin wallets holding more than 1,000 BTC from January 19th to February 6th. The resurgence in whale participation and overall network activity suggests increased optimism about BTC price as the Bitcoin halving approaches. Bitcoin’s resistance level is at $46,500 while support is at $44,800. A successful break above the support level could pave the way for an uptrend.”

Parth Chaturvedi, Investments Lead, CoinSwitch Ventures, said: “Bitcoin (BTC, +3.4%) has crossed $46,000, reaching its highest price point since the launch of spot ETFs. Technical analysis shows an uptrend that could lead to further gains. Analysts believe that BTC could soon surpass $50,000. Overall, investor sentiment rose quickly as the Crypto Fear & Greed Index rose again to a reading of 72, reaching its highest level since the launch of spot BTC ETFs on January 11th. In fact, BTC ETFs now hold more Bitcoin than Microstrategy, the largest publicly traded holder of Bitcoin.”

Rajagopal Menon, vice president of WazirX, added: “Bitcoin rose to a four-week high, approaching $45,000, driven by US stock records.” It is breaking out of a range and aiming for a yearly high above $50,000. Dollar, driven by increased open interest in BTC contracts, which increased by $982 million in less than 24 hours. Analysts are cautious and expect a possible test of the $40,000 mark this weekend. Despite liquidation signals, BTC’s slight appreciation could break the crucial support at $45,000. Ether rose 3% to a two-week high after Ark Invest and 21Shares changed joint spot ETF filing.”

Sathvik Vishwanath, CEO and co-founder of Unocoin, said: “Bitcoin’s rise to number 10 by asset marks a milestone for digital currencies. With a price of $45,500, up 5% and a trading volume of $25.43 billion, Bitcoin demonstrates its growing dominance in finance and has a market capitalization of $879.37 billion. ARK Invest's Cathie Wood believes Bitcoin could outperform gold, citing its resilience during economic turmoil. Despite the fluctuations, Wood remains optimistic, especially as spot Bitcoin ETFs attract institutional investment. Bitcoin price analysis suggests bullish momentum, breaking resistance levels at $44,363, with additional hurdles at $45,587, $46,315, and $47,276. Support levels at $43,635, $42,528, and $41,639 provide stability. A breakout of the symmetrical triangle pattern suggests Bitcoin could extend gains as high as $45,587.”

Shivam Thakral, CEO of BuyUcoin, said: “The crypto market witnessed a significant uptick as large amounts of liquidity flowed out of Bitcoin spot ETFs. Bitcoin is up about 3% since yesterday and crossed the $46,000 mark. Ethereum and major altcoins have relatively limited strength. The selling pressure for Bitcoin has eased significantly and at some point demand will exceed supply as institutional investors are far from finished. BlackRock and Fidelity’s spot Bitcoin ETFs dominate the top 25 ETFs by asset, just a month after launching.”

The CoinDCX research team told ABP Live: “Over the last 24 hours, BTC showed notable strength and broke out of its range to reach $46,000.” Current holding at this level as well as a solid close add to the bullish sentiment. The next key levels are $48,000 and $51,750, with support at previous resistance at $44,400. As BTC dominance increased, altcoins recorded limited gains, waiting for stability in BTC and a shift in capital flow. ETH followed BTC’s performance but remained below resistance at $2,450. Clearing this level is crucial as resistance lies at $2,600 and support lies at $2,375 (previous resistance). ETH/BTC showed a bearish trend, causing BTC to outperform ETH.”
