Coinfirm adds support for Blackfridge’s Poundtoken (GBPT) to its AML platform » CryptoNinjas

Blackfridge, a blockchain finance company and issuer of Poundtoken (GBPT), announced that it has integrated the stablecoin into crypto RegTech provider Coinfirm’s AML platform.

The integration of Poundtoken into the blockchain-agnostic AML platform aims to ensure that financial institutions and VASPs are able to fully comply with the guidelines of the FATF, 6AMLD and other supranational and national regulations while trading GBPT, increasing the acceptance of the stablecoin supported in the long term.

KPMG is the first regulated GBP-pegged stablecoin to launch in the British Isles. KPMG is a Chartered Accountant whose monthly reserve statements confirm that all stablecoins issued are 100% hedged.
