Folks who already know crypto coins skip the rest of my babble below. Some know little about Alex’s perspective. I appreciate Alex asking. A table of Bitcoin/etc. Accepted vendors/services would be handy for the Mule user base… Might be a way to snag referral points to help pay the light bill here… Bitcoin is NOT specific to country, continent etc.
People will continue to mine and/or invest in other cryptos, but within an exchange they can convert to bitcoin to buy things…or convert and withdraw digital dollars that get deposited into your actual bank account…digital. Or into your PayPal account. Digital. And you can then use your debit card to buy stuff. Digital.
It will quickly become MUCH bigger and more frequent….
Redneck cryptocoin analogy:
My “checks” come into my bank account digitally every month.
I buy things with a debit card for almost everything… digitally.
Merchants are paid digitally from my account.
They pay their suppliers digitally….
In the whole process above, were there ANY greenbacks?
NO.
I buy something with Bitcoin digitally from my digital wallet/account to the merchant.
Trader pays jobbers digitally with Bitcoin.
Traders and jobbers could pay their employees digitally with bitcoin….etc.
Is there a conceptual difference between the above two processes? NO.
Bitcoin and other crypto coins are NOT real coins. There’s no tangible metal disk or paper… Lunch break at the store, I bought my usual Saturday beef burrito, beans, rice around the corner from my store… with my debit card. Digital. Might have used PayPal. Digital. Could have used Samsung Pay. Digital. ApplePay. Digital. etc. Digital.
The customer paid for some string and guitar lessons at the store this morning with a debit card. Digital. It goes to my shop’s account… Digital. Do you see the pattern?

I also have a bitcoin wallet with a long ass id…
Alex probably too. I could not get my bitcoin/etc. Wallet, tell him to pay Alex the bitcoin equivalent dollar amount at that time and enter Alex’s long wallet ID/address/whatever you want to call it and the transaction will go through the blockchain passed on and my wallet gets smaller and his wallet increases by that amount… No banks, no “We are in Garden Peas, Egypt, not in the US, we don’t take Discover card”… Direct… wallet too Wallet. Damn sure…
