Bitcoin, the world's first cryptocurrency curated in 2009, once again attracted significant attention among crypto market enthusiasts around the world as it recently recorded significant whale transfers to a CEX. Notably, according to data emerging across Crypto Horizon, a whopping 14.5K BTC was moved between unknown wallets and Coinbase, a San Francisco-based CEX.
Interestingly, the whale activity circling Bitcoin appears to have immediately gained significant traction in the broader crypto market on Saturday, appearing amid a drop in the token's price. Additionally, a well-known crypto analyst further shed light on Bitcoin's current market dynamics and offered optimistic conclusions for the token.
Bitcoin Whale Transfers: Detailed Report
According to blockchain tracking platform Whale Alert, a whopping 14.5K BTC was moved back and forth from Coinbase, a major CEX. Additionally, according to the data, 8,936 BTC were transferred to Coinbase via unknown wallets, while 5,564 BTC were transferred from Coinbase to unknown wallets.
As for the data, the BTC to Coinbase transfers occurred in a series of four transactions. The first transaction that sparked global market interest transferred 3,144 BTC to Coinbase via an unknown wallet address 1J2rZGuvnb…kHHUyMA3r6. Additionally, the second transaction moved 3,143 BTC to the same CEX via the address 1EmtKQksts…9WLmnbNz5y.
Meanwhile, in the third transaction, 500 BTC from two wallets were transferred to Coinbase together. Finally, in the fourth transaction, 2149 BTC were transferred to Coinbase via the wallet address 1PWQwQpPkA…SMAgdaEPzW.
On the other hand, four transactions also resulted in a movement of 5,564 BTC from Coinbase to unknown wallets. The first transaction showed the movement of 1,335 BTC to the address 1EyuZyu87o…PmJX5XECRb. Additionally, the second transfer represented the move of 1404 BTC from Coinbase to another address 19j41wwCHt…KPNyxqmTxN.
At the same time, the third whale transfer represented the movement of 1415 BTC to the address 1EyuZyu87o…PmJX5XECRb, accompanied by the last transaction that again moved 1410 BTC to the address 19j41wwCHt…KPNyxqmTxN.

Bitcoin price drops
At the time of writing, the Bitcoin price chart showed bearish momentum, falling by 2.05% to $41,652.53 in the last 24 hours. Furthermore, this downtrend was accompanied by a weekly decline of 4.55%.
However, Muro Crypto, a well-known crypto analyst, shared market sentiment that contradicts today's decline. Muro highlighted Bitcoin's current closing price and stated that the community couldn't have asked for a more optimistic H4 close. He further emphasizes that he remains bullish on the token by saying, “I couldn’t be more confident right now,” fueling global optimism for the token.
