Bitcoin whales move 4,377 BTC from Kraken, what’s happening?

Bitcoin, the world's first digital currency curated in 2009, gained significant traction in the broader crypto market on Saturday as the token saw significant whale transfers from Kraken to unknown wallets. Notably, according to on-chain data emerging in the broader crypto market, a whopping 4,377 BTC were moved from Kraken, a CEX, to unknown wallets through a series of transactions.

Furthermore, these transactions immediately caught the attention of crypto market enthusiasts around the world when they appeared in the market amid the Bitcoin price decline. Meanwhile, a leading crypto analyst shed light on the token's current market dynamics, highlighting key events this year and stoking optimism for Bitcoin's impending market rally.

BTC Whale Transactions: Detailed Report

According to data published by Whale Alert, a blockchain tracking platform, eight significant transactions in total were attributed to the movement of 4,377 BTC from Kraken to unknown wallets in the last 24 hours. Additionally, according to the data, the first transaction that attracted traders’ interest saw 534 BTC worth $23.30 million moved from Kraken to an unknown address. At the same time, the second transaction showed the transfer of 471 BTC from Kraken to another unknown new wallet.

At the same time, the third, fourth, fifth and sixth transactions transferred 616, 691, 483 and 508 BTC from Kraken to unknown wallets, respectively. Finally, in the seventh and eighth transactions, 565 and 509 BTC were moved from Kraken to unknown addresses. Interestingly, all of the above transactions together moved $191.09 million worth of Bitcoin, sparking a lot of curiosity among crypto market fanatics.

Bitcoin price falls

At the time of writing, Bitcoin price has seen a minor decline of 0.51% over the last 24 hours and is currently at $443,741.23. However, the weekly chart showed a 4.23% increase, providing additional conclusions for the token.

Meanwhile, analyst Ali Martinez shed light on Bitcoin’s current market dynamics. According to Martinez, regardless of what happens to the spot Bitcoin ETF, the token is yet to see another bullish narrative this year, namely the Bitcoin halving. Furthermore, Ali highlighted how halvings have proven to be a catalyst for significant price increases in the past.
