PlanB, the creator of the Stock 2 Flow (S2F) model, is once again in full force on its Bitcoin (BTC) advocacy campaign, sharing three new bullish price targets.
Possible Bitcoin price targets
According to PlanB, the price of Bitcoin is likely to rise to $55,000 before the next halving. This halving is scheduled to take place in April and the Bitcoin block reward is expected to drop by 50% to 3,125 BTC. Throughout history, there has been a major buying frenzy leading up to these halving events, which underscores PlanB's prediction.
Later this year, PlanB expects the price of Bitcoin to rise past its all-time high (ATH) to a peak of $100,000. It is worth noting that this price target has been PlanB's demand for some time. The difference this time is the presence of spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) following the historic approval by the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on January 10.
In the long term, PlanB expects the price of the top cryptocurrency to reach a high of $532,000. The veteran trader set the timeline for this extremely bullish price statement to be 2025. As revealed in the accompanying YouTube video, PlanB backed its price predictions with its legendary Stock-2-Flow model, lending additional legitimacy to the predictions overall.
PlanB has a relatively conservative outlook
As bullish as PlanB's assessment is, it is relatively conservative compared to other major Bitcoin bulls like Samson Mow.
The leading Bitcoin investor believes that spot Bitcoin ETF products will catalyze the price of Bitcoin to $1 million per coin in the long term. Although this is a far cry from the coin's current price of $46,257.75, Samson Mow stands by his predictions and wants to receive a single award if the coin reaches this historic high.
