Celebrities Accused of Sexual Assault – SheKnows

Warning: This post contains descriptions of sexual violence.

In Hollywood, there seems to be a marker between life before and after the #MeToo movement. When the dust settled, 87 actresses had reported with Weinstein allegations. Angelina Jolie told USA Today about her scary incident with the studio manager when she was 23.

“I had a bad experience with Harvey Weinstein when I was young, so I made a decision to never work with him again and to warn others if they did,” she said.

While Weinstein is currently in jail, in some cases there will never be a criminal court due to the statute of limitations. Other situations continue to play out decades later, including Prince Andrew’s civil lawsuit over his alleged involvement in the Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking ring.
