The online retail platform Interactive Investor is in talks with bankers about going public on the London Stock Exchange.
According to Sky News, the company has invited several investment banks to apply for roles in an initial public offering (IPO), which is expected to take place in 2022.
The platform is expected to be valued at between £ 1.5 billion and £ 2 billion (US $ 2.7 billion, EUR 2.3 billion).
However, a final decision on going public is still pending as it depends on market conditions.
Interactive Investor has more than 400,000 clients and around £ 55 billion under management.
International Adviser contacted the platform, but the company declined to comment.
