Share your opinion on local sports and leisure activities

Residents are invited to take part in a sports and leisure survey which will inform the council’s new 10-year sports and leisure strategy.

The feedback collected will help identify what is currently working well and where there is room for improvement in the sport and leisure provision in Bracknell Forest.

The survey encourages residents to comment on:

  • their current activity level
  • the importance of physical activity in their lives
  • the types of activities they engage in, where and when they participate, whether alone or with others, and the motivations behind their participation
  • any challenges or obstacles that prevent them from being more active

As a thank you, once residents submit, they will be entered into a prize draw to win either a family swim at Coral Reef Waterworld or a round of 4-ball at Downshire Golf Complex.

Cllr Iskandar Jefferies, Executive Member for Culture, Provision and Public Protection, said:

“Residents’ input is vital in shaping our sports and leisure strategy. No one knows our community as well as you.”

“Your views will help us meet your needs and ensure we create accessible and enjoyable opportunities for all residents to be physically active. So please have your say.”

The strategy is developed with the help of experts and professionals from Strategic Leisure. Strategic Leisure will also conduct focus groups, attend local events and speak to established leisure providers to collect data across the county.

Complete the survey Online and share the link with friends and family to capture the views of as many Bracknell Forest residents as possible. The survey runs until December 15th.
