Portsmouth 3-1 Cambridge United – ` Sport

Portsmouth had to come from behind against Cambridge United to maintain their six-point lead at the top of League One.

The visitors took a surprise lead when Danny Andrew's header from a Sullay Kaikai corner was found to have gone over the line at the near post eight minutes before half-time.

However, after the recalled Kusini Yengi was fouled in the penalty area in the 44th minute, the Australian striker recovered and sent U's goalkeeper Jack Stevens the wrong way from the penalty spot.

The game was then turned on its head just before the hour mark when Yengi and Paddy Lane teamed up on the left to feed Brentford loanee Myles Peart-Harris, who scored his first goal for the Pompey club with a low one Directed the finish into the goal.

There was still time for Lane's attack to find Abu Kamara in open space on the right side of the penalty area and the Norwich loanee curled a superb angled shot that went past Stevens and off the underside of the crossbar into the goal, scoring his sixth goal of the season .

Pompey's fifth win in six games was their first consecutive home win since October. However, the only concern for coach John Mousinho was an apparent hamstring injury to midfielder Tom Lowery in the first half.

The U's have won just one of five and are four points above the drop zone.
