The Sport Industry Group is pleased to announce the nominations for the Integrity & Impact Award in partnership with InsightX are now open.
The Integrity & Impact Award, in partnership with InsightX, recognizes individuals or organizations that have demonstrated an outstanding level of ethics, integrity or trust in sport and have helped set a global standard for best practice in sport governance and business.
Speaking on the inaugural Integrity & Impact Award nomination, Sophie Elsworthy, CEO of InsightX said, “It’s wonderful to be working with the Sport Industry Group for such an important award.
“Current events mean that integrity in sport has never been more important, so we’re really looking forward to seeing who will be the next worthy recipient of this award.
“Once again, we would like to acknowledge the co-founder of this award and our former colleague, the late Simon Greenberg. Integrity in sport was of great importance to him and he remains at the forefront of our search for the next award winner.”
The award will now be presented for the sixth consecutive year at the Sport Industry Awards 2023 on Thursday 27 April at Evolution London.
In 2022was presented by Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson to Athlead Founder and CEO Kat Craig. The human rights lawyer accepted the award on behalf of a number of individuals and organizations instrumental in the evacuation of the Afghanistan women’s national football team and other vulnerable female athletes from Kabul, Afghanistan.

2021, The award was presented to Marcus Rashford for the remarkable work he has done – both on and off the pitch – fighting for the less fortunate, the less represented and the less heard in society.

In 2020US international soccer player and social activist Megan Rapinoe received the award, recognizing her work to expose racial and discriminatory divisions in the United States in 2019 and 2020.
2019, Manchester City and England footballer Raheem Sterling received the award from his national team manager, Gareth Southgate. The award recognized Sterling’s campaign against racism in football and the media’s role in discrimination within the sport.

In 2018US gymnast and attorney Rachel Denhollander was recognized for her courage and determination to speak out as a survivor of Larry Nasser’s abuse and accepted the inaugural award.
The Sport Industry Group and InsightX are now officially inviting the public to submit nominations for this year’s Integrity & Impact Award. Nominations can be made using the form below.
The Sport Industry Awards 2023 will take place on Thursday 27th April 2023 at Evolution London.
