Breen said little when he finally got to the end of the stage, simply commenting, “I know it’s a famous place, I know I shouldn’t make all these mistakes, but it’s bloody tough.”
When told that it’s clear Breen can perform, it just doesn’t click, Millener said, “Yeah, he showed that on the first three stages when he was in the lead this morning and that’s where we had it Opportunity with the stage drying to get some more effect and I think you will see it drying now the gaps will be a little bigger and that would have given us some comfort.
“It’s one thing to get individual times but it’s another thing to finish in three days and it’s a mistake Craig will remember for a long time and I’m sure he’ll be very angry with himself be.”
