Lakers superstar forward LeBron James took to social media during Saturday afternoon’s college football action, asking social media about possible college eligibility for a sport other than basketball.
“Am I eligible for college if I play another sport besides basketball? How does this rule work?” James tweeted Saturday afternoon.
James was a high school football star for St. Vincent-St. Of course, Mary High School in Akron, Ohio, spurned a potential college football career in favor of jumping from high school basketball to the NBA. The decision has obviously turned out well for the world-class athlete, who is considered one of the best players in the history of the sport.
James’ tweet made the rounds on social media and sparked incredible reactions like this one.
