Kerr McInroy will join Kilmarnock at the end of his contract with Celtic, subject to Scottish Football Association approval.
The 21-year-old midfielder has signed a two-year deal and will become Killies’ second signing for the summer window after recruiting Alan Power Killies.
McInroy impressed during his loan spells at Airdrieonians and Ayr United in 2021-22, telling Kilmarnock’s official website: “I’m delighted to be here and look forward to closing the deal in time for the start of the pre-season, so I’m delighted too get the boys started.
“I wanted to go to a club that wanted me and play at the highest possible level.
“I spoke to the manager and he was keen to bring me in, which helped a lot with my decision.
“I’m looking forward to getting in as soon as possible and seeing how I fit into the squad.”
Boss Derek McInnes said: “Kerr is a player that we faced for Ayr last season and we think he can give us that nice left-sided balance in the center of the pitch.
“He’s at a good age to try and develop to get those improvements from him on our team.
“We liked what we saw of him and it’s a step up for him to play in the Premiership so we’re delighted to have him on board.”
