400 Sport and 300 Sport add new six-cylinder options alongside the high-performance SVR
Jaguar has added two new performance-oriented sports models to its F-Pace lineup.
Both use straight-six mild hybrid engines, with the 300 Sport being powered by a 3.0-litre twin-turbo diesel and the 400 Sport being powered by a 3.0-litre turbocharged petrol.

The 400 Sport uses a twin-scroll turbocharged petrol engine with an electronic supercharger to produce 395 hp and 406 lb ft of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.1 seconds and reaches a top speed of 250 km/h.
The diesel-powered 300 Sport produces 296 hp and 479 lb ft of torque, giving it a 0-60 mph time of 6.1 seconds and a top speed of 143 mph. Despite this lively performance, Jaguar says it will still return up to 38.2mpg.
Both engines use a mild hybrid system to aid in performance and economy. The belt-driven, integrated alternator starter replaces a conventional alternator and uses energy from braking to give the engine a small boost when accelerating and to support the start-stop system.
Like the rest of the F-Pace lineup, both Sport variants come standard with all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Both cars get the same styling upgrades to set them apart from the rest of the F-Pace lineup. Highlights include 21-inch gloss black alloy wheels and an all-black exterior styling package, as well as privacy glass and gloss black roof rails. Buyers can also upgrade these wheels to larger 22-inch forged wheels in either gloss black or gloss silver.
Inside, both the 300 Sport and 400 Sport models get 16-way heated and ventilated power memory seats, along with a fixed panoramic roof and full cabin lighting.
Both cars also come equipped with Amazon Alexa, which enables easy voice control for a wide range of vehicle functions such as navigation, music and calls. They also come standard with the smartphone pack, which adds wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and allows for simultaneous connection of two phones to the car’s Pivi Pro infotainment system.
Available to order now, the F-Pace 300 Sport range starts at £52,250, while the 400 Sport starts at £68,520.
The rest of the F-Pace range remains unchanged, with a choice of four-cylinder petrol and diesel models, plus the P400e plug-in hybrid and the SVR with its supercharged 5.0-litre V8. Prices start at £46,250 for the 160hp 2.0-litre diesel R-Dynamic S and rise to £81,510 for the SVR.
