Derek Adams stands by his explosive assessment of Scottish football since returning to Ross County but “regrets” bringing Morecambe to his point of view.
Adams pulled no punches in his post-match interview with the `, describing the top flight as “rubbish”.
As he previewed his side's final game before Christmas against Hibernian on Saturday, the county manager reiterated his comments.
“What I said on Saturday was based on what I saw in the five games I watched,” he said.
“Sometimes it's probably better if I keep my thoughts and opinions to myself.
“After the game there was a situation where we were down by a goal in the last minute and you probably say things pretty quickly after that and I did, but what I saw in the five games I stand by it there.” what I said.
“What I probably shouldn’t have done was reach out to my previous employer, and I really regret that.”
