Kelowna Rockets 3 Prince George Cougars 0 (Saturday)

The Rockets scored two goals in the second period and added one to an empty net in the final seconds of the game.

The Cougars went 0 for 5 on their power play in front of 2,554 fans on Mega Jackpot Night at the CN Center and are now 2 for their last 42 with the man advantage.

It wasn’t our “knight”. Kelowna wins the rematch 3-0 at the CN Center on Saturday.

The Rockets led 3-0 after 3:02 p.m. in the first period in front of 1,829 fans at the CN Center.

BC Elite Hockey League
EU: (Cariboo Cougars U18 AAA & Northern C -itals female U18 AAA)

Northern C -itals 3 comets in Greater Vancouver 1

The same teams will meet again this afternoon in Richmond at 12:15 p.m.

The (10-5-0-1) C -itals are in first place in the 5-team league with three points ahead of the (9-0) Fraser Valley Rush, but Fraser Valley has seven games in hand.

The (5-7-1-1) U-18 Cariboo Cougars are open until the weekend of  -ril 20-21. November idle when they receive the (10-2-1-1) Vancouver NE Chiefs in a double header at Kin 1. Cariboo is in 8th place in the 10 team league.

Toronto 31 Hamilton 12 (Friday)

The (9-4) Argos have taken the top spot in the east.

The 16th and final week of the CFL season kicks off Tuesday night (4:30 p.m. PT) with Edmonton in Toronto in a makeup game.

Table position:

west: Winnipeg 11-2, Saskatchewan 9-4, Calgary 7-6, BC 4-9 and Edmonton 2-10.
East: Toronto 9-4, Hamilton 7-6 and Montreal 7-6 and Ottawa 2-11.

NFL:

There are a dozen NFL games on Sundays, including Seattle in Green Bay (1:25 p.m. PT) and Kansas City in Las Vegas (5:15 p.m.).

Week 10 of the NFL season ends on Monday with the LA Rams in San Francisco.

Arizona has the best record in the NFL at 8-1, followed by LA Rams, Green Bay and Tennessee at 7-2 with Tampa Bay and Dallas at 6-2.

The (7-7) R -tors begin a 6-game road trip against the Trail Blazers in Portland at 7:00 a.m. (PT) Monday night.

The UNBC Timberwolves will be playing basketball in western Canada through November 26th and 27th when they host the UBC Thunderbirds.
