Hall visits Victory Lane at home in Langley

Visiting the CARS Tour at Larry King Law’s Langley Speedway in Hampton, Virginia on Saturday night, two homeland heroes were expected to tower over the field – Connor Hall and Brenden “Butterbean” Queen.

And that’s exactly what they did. The two stock car drivers of recent years put up a valiant battle to defend their home game, with Hall and Queen eventually ending 2-1 in the 125-lap round.

It was Hall’s first win of the season in his #77 Chad Bryant Racing car.

Aside from bringing the entire field to a standstill due to a momentary power outage, the most notable moment was the four-car crash that produced the yellow flag right through the middle of the Hampton 125.

It started with Cole Bruce going sideways at Turn 3 in his #31 car. His stopped car then picked up Dylon Wilson’s #4, Carson Brown’s #42, and Landon Huffman’s #22 as the field passed. Bruce, Wilson and Brown failed to finish the race while Huffman only finished 21st.
