The Panthers and Vikings shared the four singles games, but Oregon ultimately prevailed by winning two of the three doubles.
Oregon’s Ella Peotter celebrated a 6-0, 6-0 win over Malia Rippe in 1st place singles. Oregon freshman Kate Thorne also impressed in the singles by defeating Samantha Weber 6-1, 6-1 in flight #2.
Stoughton’s Eve Wevley won 6-2, 6-0 against Lola Bronchetti in 3rd place in singles. In the only three-set singles match of the day, Stoughton’s Emerson Hubert defeated Samantha Schroeder 6-3, 3-6, 10-8.
In Doubles No. 1, Oregon’s Anna Johnson and Stephanie Lo teamed to a 7-6(4), 6-3 win over Lauren Model and Jordan Bellisle. Viking duo Alana Ringen and Allison Sankbeil defeated Katherine Stoneman and Mary Jo Sommers 6-4, 6-2.
The Panther pair Jaqlin Jenkins and Sydney Zurawik won against Lydia Tomczyk and Allia Taamallah 7:6 (5), 6:1.
