British tire manufacturer Davanti has expanded its Protoura Sport range with the launch of the new Protoura Sport DSP Runflat. After an extensive testing and development program at industry-leading proving grounds in summer conditions, the new tire offers runflat properties while maintaining what the tire manufacturer claims is high levels of grip, endurance and comfort.
The tire is designed and tested to the vehicle manufacturer’s OE standards and is equivalent to that of a premium runflat tire. In addition to the standard run-flat test requirements, such as the standard drum test, Davanti tested the design’s pop-on pressure to ensure that the tires could be easily mounted on and removed from the rim while still applying sufficient force to the wheel is maintained for reliable operation.
