BMW India on Tuesday unveiled the latest addition to its luxury sedan range with the launch of the 620d M Sport Signature and is launching a diesel variant to expand choice for customers in the country. Price at ₹Priced at Rs 78.90 lakh (ex-showroom), this unveiling marks a significant addition to the BMW 6 Series range, which was previously dominated by petrol offerings.
Prospective buyers can now book the BMW 620d M Sport Signature at all BMW India dealerships across the country. This sedan comes with a choice of four exterior paint finishes: Mineral White, Tanzanite Blue, Skyscraper Gray and Carbon Black. Inside, the cabin exudes elegance, with natural leather upholstery in Dakota Cognac complemented by careful stitching.
The interior of the BMW 620d M Sport Signature is different from its petrol counterpart and features two large 12.3-inch screens with a fully digital instrument cluster and a touchscreen infotainment system. Powered by BMW Live Cockpit Professional using BMW Operating System 7.0, the touchscreen unit offers seamless integration with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, accompanied by a premium 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system.
In terms of comfort and safety, the sedan is equipped with a rearview camera with parking assistant, remote parking, wireless charging, a smartphone holder integrated into the center console, paddle shifters and a panoramic sunroof.
Under the hood, the BMW 620d M Sport Signature has a lot to offer with its 2.0-liter four-cylinder diesel engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission. With an output of 188 hp and a torque of 400 Nm, this engine ensures a dynamic driving experience. The sedan offers five different driving modes – Comfort, Comfort+, Sport, Eco Pro and Adaptive – to suit different driving preferences.
Thanks to its impressive performance, the BMW 620d M Sport Signature accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.9 seconds, further cementing its position as a top contender in the luxury sedan segment.
